When I read this line the first thing which popped into my mind is Blaine Taylor, the old head coach at ODU. We should seriously consider hiring him if he has found sobriety. Realistically, there is not another more successful and available Div 1 coach within our pay range than Taylor. He is a proven winner in the CAA as he won the conference three times. He had the Monarchs rolling until his final season when he was fired for his behavior. Taylor is an assistant coach at UC Irvine. I’m sure JMU could afford him assuming he wants to be a head coach again.

I believe we need to hire a proven winner and not some up and coming assistant coach.
