Deez gets it. JMU is building state of the art facilities not at last minute rush decision field house turned into basketball arena. That is a start. What they pay will depend on who is interested. They should not go cheap for the right guy. Too much invested to do that.

The last key is hiring a coach that fits the school. Think Mckillop at Davidson, Few at Gonzaga or Mooney at UR. You need a guy who understands the schools strengths and what kids would want to go there. Strong DC ties are a plus. A history of running a winning college program is necessary. A coach who can adjust his system to the talent he has or can recruit the players to fit that system.
