This admin doesn't learn from their mistakes. In fact, they repeat them more often than not.

You cannot act like it was an option to move on last year. Sure, you/we can claim that we didn't see the ingredients for improvement this season, but the opposing viewpoint could easily argue the same. With the benefit of hindsight it is clear the program is not moving forward, but you simply cannot act as though it was as "easy" as Alger/King/Bourne firing Rowe last March.

I never said it was an "easy" decision. But I will definitely agree that there is a big difference between paying off Rowe's salary for one year versus 2 years of his salary last year. Salary aside, I don't know how one can look at the first three seasons and see anything that suggests Rowe had the capabilities to turn the program around. That's the only part of your statement I don't quite agree with.
My frustration is coming from comments made that apparently the board wanted to let Rowe go last year and King still believed in Rowe. Perhaps that never happened, and if it didn't then that changes what I know about the situation and my thoughts.
My concern is that Rowe still has another year left and does King still want to prevent having to pay that much back to Rowe? Does he still have faith in Rowe to turn this program around? Part of me thinks he does and if he does then King will have his way and keep Rowe around next year.
Unless someone here has spoken to King, how do we know if he is still on board with Rowe or not? Obviously all of us see the writing on the wall and there isn't a single person on this board (that I'm aware of) that believes Rowe is deserving of another year. But when you pay a guy's salary and make big statements about having no doubt in the guys ability to turn the program around, I think it's hard to say with absolute certainly that Rowe will be fired.
