I like the idea of some extra flair to boost attendance like having Bill Murray in attendance and I don't hate the idea of an assistant(like I said before, I think Keener has people way too scared of an assistant) but I'd like to see JMU look at assistants who have spent some time as assistants to really great coaches. Obviously VCU had a lot of success with a couple of Billy Donovan assistants taking them to the next level after Capel, I'd be really excited about anyone who's been an assistant to someone like Tony Bennett, Gregg Marshall, Mark Few, Billy Donovan, or obviously any of the huge, huge names like Coach K, Roy Williams, Tom Izzo, Pitino, etc...

One thing I liked about VCU's Billy Donovan assistant hires is that those guys worked for and learned from someone who was able to be extremely successful without consistently getting the huge recruits that someone like UNC, Duke, or Kentucky gets. That's something I'd like about an assistant from someone like Bennett or Marshall if they have anyone that'd be a good fit and would be within our reach.
