Sure, OK. Jeff Bourne literally watched Rowe's squad lose in the quarterfinals 3 days and a couple hours before you posted this BUT PLEASE OVERREACT AND DEMAND ANSWERS A WEEK AGO. Hey, hey. I made my point on this a few times. If Bourne knew that Rowe was coming back next season, why not give him and the team a boost and say something confirming it in the few days before the tournament? I have seen that work with other non-JMU sports and teams over the years. It may have helped them down there. There were more questions to Rowe about his job security than his opponents, and you know the players had it on their minds.

What happened in Charleston- beating 9th place Towson by 1 and losing to Hofstra by 9 did not change his opinion (I hope).

How do you know he didn't say something to the team or to Coach Rowe? Anyway, Bourne giving/not giving a stamp of approval would not have changed the results. It wouldn't have helped our team not turn the ball over or play poor defense. We lost because we weren't good enough and if playing in the tournament wasn't enough of a boost for this team they shouldn't have set foot in Charleston.

Rowe said in the postgame radio interview that he hoped he would be back next season. He was not sure in his reply.
