Looking forward to watching it from home. This will be the most telling game so far. UMass has a way of making their defense look tricky and hopefully Austin does a lot more running and check downs. I predict a short yard TD pass to Jaylonel who brakes it for a big one.

Let's also hope we have consistent energy for 4 quarters, something this team hasn't done so far. Need to get this win with a very tricky game against Jacksonville State the following week.

1. Jaylon Jackson with a receiving t.d.
2. Sparacio and Kline shine with 24 combined tackles
3. We see Max Reese used a lot both in the slot and at TE as the coaches preach to Austin for shorter yardage plays.

I want to see Samson Evans be a workhorse today and Tanner Knue get deep on a play action pass at least once.

Fired up for this game. If EMU wants to set the 'Standard' and keep building off a 9-4 season last year, this is a game we MUST win. I've mentioned it before that this has to be a win with an upcoming Jacksonville St. game next week and they are currently sitting on a bye wk. Going down there 1-2 could be alarming to fans, recruits, etc.

I am most excited to see how Austin Smith plays. UMass Defensively presents a lot of different looks and he needs to be definitive and most importantly play with better pace We look so slow at times. If he's not cooking and the offense stalls early, it may be time for a shot in the arm come 2nd half with a different QB look for at least a few possessions.

I stater before that my 3 predictions are Jaylon Jackson to catch a short yard and burn it long, Max Reese to get involved and Kline and Sparacio for 24 combined tackles.

Another receiver needs to emerge as a strong target - Reese, Swinton, etc...

Bingo Nickle, I'd like to see Mikah Coleman get another sack and continue to elevate and establish himself as our sack leader Our secondary has looked good and what's crazy to me is that this will likely be Daiquan Whites 3rd start as a true freshman! I love it.
