Guess I'll find out soon.

Chick-fil-A is the closest thing to a sure bet in the fast food universe (at least in the conterminous USA). I don’t think I’ve ever had a bad experience there (except maybe their first attempt at order-on-the-app 1.0 mixed with COVID). At their best, Popeyes can (could) be stellar. But that’s the exception not the rule now if you randomly go to one you know nothing about. KFC I’ve given up on. Too many melted microwaved styrofoam side items.
Bo’s and Slim Chickens we are collecting more data (mmmmmmmm data)

I am going to add Culver's to your list. Culver's, like Chick-fil-A, seems to get quality kids to work there, and it shows.

Before being sold, Chicago's Portillo's also was the gold-standard of fast food.

I grew up in North Carolina and know Bojangles well. -And I do like their dirty rice. When returning to the state after 25 years in Chicago, I didn't seek out the chain.

Well they may be quality kids and I’ve never had issue with customer service but taste-wise Culver’s chicken is consistently below the bar of tolerability on the oatm eat’m scale.

Bo's staff will end up mowing the yards of the Chick-fil-A kids when they all grow up, but Bo's has the better breakfast biscuits. Their bacon wins the day.

Charlotte gives Texas Bojangles, and Texas responds by giving us Whataburger in return. Thanks guys!

Interestingly, I have never been in Bojangles, Whataburger or Chick-Fil-A.

Steak n Shake, then?

I could go for a five way, but I can’t do the onions and cheese no more.

So just make mine a three-way, please!

That's great news. While Whataburger isn't what it was when it was Texas owned, it's still the best fast-food burger I've ever had. The fries are excellent if you eat them when they're hot. Nobody's fries are good once they get cold.

Never been there, either. At least, not that I remember.

Sounds like to me that you need to build a few memories.
