Jags get the first TD on a rush from backup QB Desmond Trotter on their opening drive. Troy with a low hit on QB Bentley on the previous play. He jogged off so I hope that means he’s able to come back.

Update: Bentley is in fact out of the game. And we turn the ball over deep in our own territory. Jags need to regroup with Trotter at the helm.

Troy added a FG on the short field. The Jags committed a turnover and a 3-and-out on their two possessions without Bentley at QB.

Offensive play calling actually looks good today.

Troy's offense is playing well vs one of the better defenses in the league.

Good game Troy. I really didn’t realize how important Bentley was to our offense (and defense apparently).

Without Bentley the Jags are done for the year. Would have been a better game. Trotter just doesn’t have it. Plain and simple.

When you can’t sustain offensive drives it does affect defense. For reference, see just about every other USA season lol.

Don't underestimate Chip Lindsey's ability to lose this game.

We really need to change how many commercials there are in college football. Games are long enough. Just now South Alabama scored and we went to a commercial break. After commercials South Alabama kicked off and Troy fair catches the ball and we go to another commercial break. That’s a bit ridiculous.
