AAC Football Teams as Wendy's Menu Items
https://www.thedailystampede.com/2019/8/...ti-houston

What could possibly go wrong?

(my personal favorite - "UConn left to join the Friendly's menu")

I've heard that the Skylines in Florida are The Suck. I think the issue is that Skyline is misbranded. It shouldn't be called chili. It should be called sauce.

It must be glorious to live life with no taste buds. I'd eat Hormel 100 times over 100 before I'd go back into Skyline.

RE: AAC Football Teams as Wendy's Menu Items
Kinda makes me think - we ought to do some kind of ranking of "best foods from each of our areas." I THINK we'd all agree that Tulane has to be #1 (Cajun, duh), though I might think Houston now that they have Viet Cajun to go with BBQ. Speaking of which, BBQ would have their own division, what with Houston, SMU, Memphis and ECU all able to make a legit case for tops. Temple has cheesesteaks, Tampa has Cuban sandwiches (better option than having unleashed Hooters or Outback into the world), Orlando has Puerto Rican food (and, for reasons I don't understand, a bunch of Brazilian places that can be great), Navy has crab cakes and/or soft shell crab, Cincinnati has diarrhea Skyline "chili," I suppose UConn has jalapeno mac and cheese. No idea what Tulsa has...

I'm just disappointed the double stack isn't featured. Otherwise, pretty good.

It appears so. I either missed this when it was posted or just forgot about it. LOL - you can always count on Gink to go above and beyond to crap on anything Tampa...

I feel that the writer missed the mark on UConn since Friendly's is a chain restaurant and we are going Independent (this is a football specific article and not an Olympic one).

UConn football has got to be Bacon Jalapeno Mac and Cheese at an independently owned eatery.

If you are a foodie, there are a lot of cool places to hit in Greater Cincinnati. Suggesting Skyline Chili as the face of the city is akin to suggesting that Taco Bell is the best place to get a taco or a burrito in the southwest.
