What could possibly go wrong?

(my personal favorite - "UConn left to join the Friendly's menu")

USFFan

I feel that the writer missed the mark on UConn since Friendly's is a chain restaurant and we are going Independent (this is a football specific article and not an Olympic one).

UConn football has got to be Bacon Jalapeno Mac and Cheese at an independently owned eatery.

UCONN Football would be the Hardees fish sandwich. No one wants it and it will be off the menu soon.....

UConn football definitely belongs on this Independent Eatery menu:

Well if you finish top four then you'll play Tulane in hoops only once per year. Think of it as an easy nonconference game.

As for football, we did win last year and I think the new admin purged that nightmare.

I've heard that the Skylines in Florida are The Suck. I think the issue is that Skyline is misbranded. It shouldn't be called chili. It should be called sauce.

I had Skyline in Cincinnati and it still was gross. I guess it is something you have to be raised on or drink when drunk to appreciate

Never even heard of Skyline. Sounds like airline food. The name enough says Proceed with Caution when talking about chili.

I had Cincinnati chili once. It was homemade and even though it looked strange to me, it was pretty dang good. Hit the spot. Then I met my wife who makes a killer chili and she serves it over macaroni noodles with cheese on top. I know it's not Texas chili (no beans) which I love, but it's frikken awesome just the same.

Just correcting things that are not factual. You just feel it is more directed at usf fans because some of you guys just happen to spew a lot more incorrect information than others in this conference (i.e. attendance).

That’s rich. Of course you think it was a Tampa creation. Everyone always wants a local claim to fame. I don’t blame you. But the Cuban sandwich was created in Cuba and brought to Key West decades before it even appeared in Tampa.

Don’t let facts get in the way, I guess.

UConn would be clam chowder (New England variety of course, not that gross Manhattan kind). Or a hamburger - those were invented in CT.
