This is a top CUSA facility? Yikes. Amenity-less. Not even a gazebo or snow cone stand.

At least show a picture that's not 25 years old. That looks like Joe Aillet Stadium in 1992. A lot has changed since then. Robertson Stadium in 1992 wasn't exactly a gem either. Tech now has a north endzone video board, a new south endzone complex and next year a new press box will open. A new indoor practice facility is probably the next project after the press box is completed. Got a lot of catching up to do but everything being built is first class.

You sound just like the ECU fans the right before they joined

Your teams confidence is built on cupcakes

There was once a transition year between when most of the AAC had left but not all..it was basically c-usa now, ECU one of the remainders destroyed everyone in blowouts(except Marshall in a hard fought game) and had double digit wins, they returned basically everyone from that team and looked to be way better than that previous year (Cardenas and Hardys senior season)

No one in the AAC gave ECU any credit, ECU fans talked up a huge mess almost identical to what you just posted, how they were going to come in and run this league and were going to compete for the league title (we gave them no credit)

What happened? ECU ended up just subpar not in the title race at all
Tulane was a bowl team in c-USA that year, returned practically everyone aswell and ended up a 2 win team in a "better" team

Here's the reality if ECU was never added to the AAC, they'd have likely been a top 15 team that year and would have been talking mess how if in the AAC they'd have skull drug us

La tech is a top recruiting C-USA team and top facilities in C-USA. In the AAC would be bottom half in both those respects..your ability to pile up wins against bad teams and build confidence when you play good teams won't be the same in the AAC

I agree the last time we played Houston we beat them. Can't get anymore cupcake then that.

Sorry, but those renderings look awful and are futile attempts to put lipstick on a pig. If LA. Tech was serious about upgrading their facilities, they should have demolished and started from scratch. That grandstand is a train wreck.

The LA Tech stands look weird with that last batch of seats going straight out past the endzone. I can't imagine trying to watch plays at the other endzone. They need a big curve to make the stadium look natural and round.

Only because we've been using UCF as our farm league. And that's not as much exaggeration as it might sound.

George O'Leary
George Godsey
Brent Key
Todd Stansbury (who is now the GT AD)

I think there were 1-3 more other football assistant coaches as well.

Well George tried to match uniforms so essentially he made it an easy transition. Stay away from Scott Frost or White!
