Absolutely not.

I've been saying since the summer that they would have a more talented roster (obviously only about the top 6-7 players) than 85% of their overall schedule.

Are they playing better and look better coached? Of course. There is no question Tubby Smith is a better floor coach than Josh Pastner. None.

But it being "miraculous" if they went 14-3, I mean...I get it...but I don't really.

The American is not the ACC or Pac 12.

I'll give you 3.5 players, but 6-7 is BS.

Our 5 player, Rivers, our center, can't buy a rebound at 6'8"? And he is better than 85% of our competitors post players.

You have been glueing up again.

Let me rephrase - our top 6-7 are better than 85% top 6-7 in terms of a functioning unit playing team basketball.

Dedric guarded Brimah most of last night FWIW.
Maybe

Our 5-7 players wouldn't play on the top half of the teams in the AAC.

We just disagree is all.

I think Dedric and Markel start for anyone in this league.

KJ and Martin would be every team's rotation.

1-4, I agree. After that falls off a cliff. 5-7 wouldn't see the floor on the top half of the teams in the AAC.

I'm not about to write off Jimario just yet.

Takes JC guys a while to adjust but he's looking better lately. Shooting the 10-15 foot jumper and more confident taking it to the goal. He may not be what you want on the boards but he's 6-6 and athletic and showing a little versatility to his game.

By the end of the year, chance he will be a guy who most AAC teams would want in their rotation.

That record would indeed be miraculous...

Why is that?

Probably based upon never having won more than 12 games in this conference. Different coach, I know. But hard habit to break.

That's very poor reasoning seeing as we have had just three seasons in this league so far, and only two with the current membership.

26-8 is around top 45 RPI and we could make the tourney as an at large if we make the finals of the Tourney.

Many have said that was impossible...Unlikely or silly to even talk about...Don't recall if you were one of them.

Do I also need to teach you how odds work? It ain't rocket science. You don't get junk bond returns on a Treasury bond bet, amigo.

Shoot the way the Tigers played last night 14-3 looks within reach. Just have to stay consistent.

Wow. Yesterday it was practically a 0% chance. Now it looks "within reach." Where I come from we call that crawfishing.

Not really. See bold: "the way they played last night."

The 0% comes from the math numbers. BUT, the team looked really good. IF (that's a big IF) they play that that every game, then were talking.

Nice double talk. You've been spending too much time with HoopDreams.

Not "reasoning" per se. And I didn't make the comment. Nash can defend himself. I was just saying how some might have a hard time envisioning it, since it's never happened.

My thoughts are, 12 is the most we've ever won and that was with a really good, deep team. Of course, the coaching...I think 12 wins this year would be a really good season - would put us on the bubble. 14 would exceed anyone's expectations.
