According to the school, the actual colors are Tower Blue and Rocket Gold. See for example https://www.utoledo.edu/campus/about/ and the UT graphics manual. I also know them as Midnight Blue and Gold from my days, so don't know when these "official" color names came to be.

Neal is having a huge season. Carly Molls also exploded in her senior season. Nice to see us getting some throwers.

Wow she has really improved over the years. I believe she was an all-state or maybe state champion out of Fjndlay HS when Coach K signed her. This team's juniors are his last recruiting class. Hope they can get some more non-distance kids. They announced a spring girl from NY but her marks are completely unimpressive. Still probably early in the track kids recruiting though. I hope.

The bad news is only one of those marks (Lichter in the 5k) make the MAC auto qualify list. Still, does hopefully bode well for the future.

Here's a link to a recap of Friday's results at the Hillsdale Gina Relays. Apparently the 5000 meters was run Thursday night but the results don't seem to be mentioned on the UT site. At least I don't see anything about the results there. I haven't taken the time to look anywhere else.

At least as of now (about 7:00 Eastern Saturday morning) the writeup seems to need some editing. The headline reads day one: the first sentence says day 2 and says the results are from Saturday, April 30th. So I'm confused.

Of course that's not unusual. Maybe it's just me.

At this point I would like to start seeing some tweets about throwers and jumpers. It looks like they signed 8-9 good distance kids and one mediocre non-distance. Hopefully cross improves but we have the worst track team in the MAC.
