Quote:Welcome to the newest Rocket Allyson Goff! Allyson brings PRs of 8.64 for 60H, 13.80 for 100H, and 19'3.5" for LJ. She should make an immediate impact at the MAC level and beyond!

Appears to be a transfer from Georgia St. Originally from near Detroit. Those numbers would have been 4th in the 100H and 7th in the LJ at the just completed MAC championship. Rockets didn't qualify in either event this year.

Of course, I still haven't heard what happened to the last transfer from UTEP that looked to be such a great addition. Injured?

Not on the roster. ????

Jepkirui is still listed on the roster here: http://www.utrockets.com/roster.aspx?path=wtrack

I looked about a month ago and didn't see her. May not have been eligible for outdoor somehow? Transfer issues?

Joan is still on the squad. She used a redshirt for this outdoor season and is currently training toward the cross country season.

Was hoping you'd weigh in, Coach. Thanks. And congrats on five advancing to regionals. As a (primarily) field event guy I love seeing a couple advance.

East Regionals started today. 10K just finished.

Looks like Jennifer Lichter finished 14th, Brook Tullis 30th. Top 12 go to Finals, so Lichter missed finals by only 8 seconds. She's just a freshman.

Results here: http://www.ncaa.com/ncaa-division-i-east...nary-round

That new transfer from Georgia State will help right away from looks of it! She jumped that PB jump this outdoor season. Didn't run as well in the hurdles as the PB must be from back in high school but she's listed at 14.16 which I think would still make final. Good to pick up transfers to help right away. A lot of those kids think that life 1000 miles from home is better and Toledo has always had a tradition of being a second stop for some great kids in all sports.

KYESHA NEAL QUALIFIES FOR NCAA FINALS IN DISCUS WITH HUGE PB!!!! She finished 9th in First Round (our of 48) and advances (Top-12 advance). She was also highest MAC finisher!

No Toledo female thrower has ever made it to the NCAA Championship finals! Congrats!

Discus people are hard to figure. Here are people who obviously never threw away a dinner plate in their lives...

This is exciting news. Link an article when one shows up somewhere please.

Was it Eastwood or some other wood had that really good family of girl team throwers? Must be a thing in that area.

Two sisters, dad was the coach, IIRC. Older one had good college career, I think.

In less exciting news, Madeline Pacella did not clear a height in the High Jump.

Can't get the whole screen, but it looks like Neal finished 48th of 48. An early foul is visible - may have dropped out before completing her throws. Anyway, what an amazing season for her. Good luck in Duckville!

The concert will have a woman that was a finalist on the xfactor and another nashville artists and also local performer Dave Carpenter. He said release coming but concert is June 2. Other two charities include a scholarship to UT for someone studying art and the other is to feed homeless in area through a national charity.

It looks like the event is on. This evening at 7:30. INFO
