Memphis is the most apathetic city in the entire US. Look at the Red Birds. When Autozone was new and the team playing well they challenged Sacramento for the attendance title of minor league baseball. After the newness wore off and it was no longer the "in thing" the city ended up having to buy the stadium and the Cardinal had to buy the team to keep it afloat.

Maybe one day memphis can be as cool as horn lake.

Expect such a comment from you since you cannot counter the facts.

So let me get this straight...

They tell people it's cancelled. Then they 'un-cancel' it. Don't publicize it, hold it in the middle of the day, on a Saturday, on the same day as the Bandmaster's Championship...


and people on here want to complain about the attendance?

When you try and do things on the cheap and on top of that send out mis leading information what do you expect. AD office screwed the pooch on this deal

It's a sad example of the state of the program. It is certainly a precursor to the upcoming season and like someone else said, there is only one way to fix it.
