You clearly don't know CUSA football well if you think FIU is next. I would think the we should be ranked ahead of FAU since we beat them last year. Not that FAU is a bad team (I think they will do well) but we bring almost everyone back and our coach is better with x and o's.. By the way, I still think we will mid-pack or better with some upsets.

Wow, Marshall fans. I thought you were upgrading your OOC schedule with Purdue, but they were 3-9 last year and are No. 115 in the Orlando Sentinel poll. With Ohio, Kent State and Norfolk State on the schedule, Purdue is now officially the worst ranked team of your OOC games according to the poll. The sad part is, the Monarchs may be the toughest of your first five games, and possibly your first nine games. If you don't start the season 9-0, I will be highly surprised.

You guys are too good to be tied to this type of OOC schedule. The way you put it on the Monarchs last year was just downright embarrassing. Here's hoping we give you a better game this year.

When you schedule years out, it's a crap shoot. Who'd have thought Michigan would be in the place they are in?? Six years ago or so when this game was scheduled, it looked like a quality opponent. Purdue could still sneak up on some teams in the Big 10-teen and give our SOS a boost (esp. if we beat them).

Honestly hate it for Marshall fans. The program is on the rise and has a good team, but the only way to gain national respect for the program, CUSA and G5 in general is to beat good P5 programs. I'd love to see Marshall beat a Va Tech or Miami etc.

I doubt that HERD fans are losing sleep over that.

Anymore than 2 wins would be a good year in my book.

Not surprised UTSA is being ranked so low given the amount of players lost. But, I think they're too low. The talent they are bringing in is flat out better than the players replaced, many of whom were FCS recruits.

anybody got the O'Sen' predictions from last year? Would be interesting to see the variance between prediction and actual.

Like beating Alabama the year they won the SEC and finished #8 in the country. Been there, done that
