We for sure have Oklahoma State. Having a hard time finding anything else. I don't think Oklahoma is on this year's slate.
Other likelies are Oral Roberts (annual crosstown match) and we may have games left on Creighton, Wichita State, Missouri State contracts.

Conference rules and penalties are necessary. Our coach only cares about easy wins if there's such a thing at ECU. It sickens me.

Gulf Coast Showcase vs. Green Bay, Fresno State, and Hawaii (Evansville, Florida Gulf Coast University, Marist, and San Francisco were the other powerhouses in the 8-team field)
North Carolina Wesleyan (NCAA Division III)
VU Lynchburg (USCAA -- whatever that is, probably below DIII and NAIA)
UNC Wilmington
UNC Asheville
UNC Greensboro
Florida Atlantic
Florida A&M
James Madison
Central Connecticut State
North Carolina (only attempt out of the entire non-conference slate to schedule a respectable opponent)
So, basically Lebo scheduled 2 schools that aren't even division II, a pre-season tournament with all low-major and mid-major teams, a money game at North Carolina, and a bunch of games against UNC branches and directional schools from the MEAC and Big South. I can't believe your athletic director signed off on that garbage. AAC scheduling mandates need to happen yesterday.
Agree with everything you posted.

ECU has to do something about their coach. He is pissing on the opportunity to elevate ECU basketball.

nobody does, but we do have what we have seen in Lebos 5 years here. If it didnt change after we won the CIT do you really think it would now? Especially now when there are some who are beginning to question how far Lebo can take us. Lebo likely needs a similar schedule next year to get back over .500

Exactly nobody knows, but you act as if you do.
Why is everyone assuming ECU will have a crappy schedule, and then saying people need to do things when those people very well may be doing those things.

All we have done is seen history repeat itself over and again, what else are we suppose to base it on? Our OOC is pathetic. Which is the opposite of what we do in football and typically baseball.
So far we know we have....
UNCW
@JMU
Campbell
FAU (I think)
All of the games are fine imo, but assuming we have 9 more OOC games we need to go something like this.
Coastal Carolina
NC State
Charlotte
Old Dominion
UNCG
App St
South Carolina
Richmond
George Mason

The issue with the schedule are the non D1s and, Central Conn St, and Florida A&M. The tournament was a good one for us, and we got a good game against Wisconsin GB.
I am not defending the schedule in the least, I've been one of the biggest complainers about it for years. However, replace those 4 games with.......
Charlotte
ODU
Coastal Carolina
South Carolina
and that would be a great schedule for us.

HISTORY says it. Which is the only thing we have to base it on. I've been bitching about it for almost 10 years and it hasn't changed.
You're right, what we need is an apathetic and uneducated fanbase that just sits on their hands.
You know the irony is no one gives a **** when someone complains about a series like Marshall in football or a one off FCS game against Towson, because ppl care. Yet when it comes to hoops I am just suppose to trust Jeff Lebo that has demonstrated he likes a lightweight schedule and likely has 1/100th the passion for ECU athletics that I do.

No you're missing my point, I'm not arguing that our schedules are good or even that the schedule is going to change. But people are sitting here bitching saying the AAC should do this and that when they don't know whether they are or not.

We had our chance to change going into this year. I gave our staff the benefit of the doubt, they failed. I'll believe it when I see it at this point.
