They should at least be on the bubble IMO.

They can climb in but they are going to have dominate the league outside of UConn and USF.

Their RPI dropped to the 70s after the loss and there is no one outside those two left in their schedule with RPIs lower than 75

Very true. I think they will go about business and win all those games. They are clearly the number 3 team in this conference. Unfortunately, it looks like they'll need other bubble teams to nosedive in their respective conferences.

Agreed with both of the above. Lots of games left to play but for the moment I think our chances in WBB are 65% NIT and 35% NCAA.

You can't drop from the 30s to the 70s with a loss to a 12-3 team. I doubt it's that bad.
Women's hoops selection still has remnants of the "good ole girls" club...it's seen a lot in seeding.

Beat ECU easily tonight. Owned no more - free at last.

Miami (12-3) destroyed #4 Notre Dame tonight, 78-63. The Hurricanes could very well be ranked next week.

Great for Tulane since they beat Miami earlier this season.

Well that ECU win dealt good. I guess we're free of their recent 2 in a row dominance over is?

I hope ECU gets it together and starts winning games...we need 2 more top 100 wins. There are only 2 other teams besides the top 3 with winning records in the whole league.

Oh look, Dowdy's ECU owns Houston too. We should rename this thread to "Team's Dowdy thinks ECU owns lately".
TY to ECU for continuing to pad our RPI

I know it's a young SMU team and they are playing UCONN, but this is one of the most lopsided halves that I've ever seen UCONN play in (including Division 2 exhibition games). I hope SMU is willing to invest in their women's program like they have in both the men's program and Moody.

I am starting to lose faith in our coach. She was given the same benefits the men's program gets but I am not seeing results.

Final was 87-28. At one point it was 74-9. That is pretty pathetic.

U Conn only won by 50 the first game; I guess Geno studied some film and found the weaknesses.
Just like in men's hoops, I think women's hoops teams have an obligation to this league and particularly to the world-class U Conn program to try to get better.
