UCONN plays at ECU in a couple days. Unfortunate that it's when school isn't in session...What do you think the turn-out will be?
The conference and TV screwed us. It's the 31st at 2:30 PM, Wednesday. Attendance will be awful. I won't be able to go, have to work.

USF had over 3500 for the ECU game. If season keeps going as it started that end of season game vs UConn could have 8000 or more

Didnt look like 3500 on TV. More like 2500. I wasn't paying attention to the crowd though so I may be way off.

Announced was 3500. We had a men's game right afterwards.
We had 6600 for UConn last year
USF has been building good support for its women's basketball team.

Are they as reliable as the football numbers that they announce?

They count tickets distributed as they do in football. So if people use them is closer to actual if not then it's not. Nothing has changed in the way it's reported just as it at most schools.
At the end of the day as I said before it shouldn't matter to those outside the program.

USF beat ECU 69-62 in a big match up.
Right now the league has
UConn 8-1 RPI#2 slam dunk for the Dance
USF 10-3 RPI 32 pretty safe if it takes care of business in conference
Tulane 10-2 RPI#38 but not a great OCC they will need to win in league play and probably split with USF to have a shot
ECU 9-3 but RPI is low, 79 doubt they get in unless they can sweep league win next match up vs USF
Problem is most of league outside of those four have horrific RPIs. That will drag the top down if they lose.
Tulane played LSU, NC State, Miami and FSU....can't expect a much better schedule than that.
If TU-ECU-USF have some sort of split between the three teams and take care of business against the rest of the league, I think that will get the league 3-4 bids. Having UConn still gives the league credibility (right or wrong). It would also help these teams if they can somehow keep the UConn game somewhat close.

All well known names. But LSU is 6-5 RPI 208, UM' RPI is 134
FSU has a good RPI but Tulane lost that one. The NCST win is a good one.
Right now Tulane has only two wins vs top 100 teams and because our conference is so weak it will only face three teams with RPIs lower than 100, one is UConn that you won't win. So that leaves USF and ECU. Will that be enough?
May not be enough. Bad year for LSU to suck.
1/2 the league (or more) just had bad ooc records. As lackluster as the men's side has looked, at least the teams have winning records so it doesn't hurt the top of the league when you play them.

UCONN up on ECU 45-22 at the half. ECU settled down in the last five minutes and probably out scored UCONN. Defense really frustrating Geno, and UCONN. No answer for Brianna Stewart

I really feel sorry for the UCONN women because they have ZERO competition in this league.

They would have the same in most conferences. If you are not top 4 you won't challenge them
