Quote:I think we can beat Georgia Southern and Northern Illinois next season. Won't be easy, but if we can win 2 of that group of games, there's no reason we can't win 9 games.
I think we
can beat @GA-Southern, @NIU, and @Toledo next year. And if playing an improved BGSU w/ Matt Johnson at QB again there, I think we
could beat them too, by the looks of it at this point. We CAN beat any G5 team on our schedule.
But IMO, all that's pointing out is that we 'only' have 2 non-winnable games: MSU, @OSU. So, we should go 10-2, right?
Altogether, par/expected is who'd be the solid favorite against who you'll face, and expect to beat the teams where it's at or about a "pick 'em" or you're solid choice as a Win.
MAC-East in Parenthesis are Hypotheticals since we don't know the Whos:
MSU, @OSU: 2 Losses
@GA-Souther, @NIU, @Toledo = 3 Solid Favorites as opposition to win; 3 Losses
BSU, (BGSU) = 2 Pick 'Ems - 2 Win
FCS team, CMU, @EMU, (Akron), (@Kent) = 5 Solid Favorites as Us winning; 5 Wins
= 7-5 expected aka "par"
Could be that we beat @GA-Southern but we lose to BGSU. Just setting the realistic bar.
