I didn't get that impression at all. They just made the comment "Rivals these two teams, two of the three undefeated in league play, trailing only new league member Georgia Southern.

Yeah could have just been my imagination, I thought their voice dropped a little when they said Georgia Southern. lol

Good job!

So now that it's after the game...how many times have we beant stAte over now in 3 years? How is the sunbelt #1 rush defense looking now?

Cajuns have won 5 out of the last 7.

Speaking of defense....Cajuns you aint the Iron Curtain ....you gave up 600yds and 40pts.

A win is a win, but it's not all sunshine and roses with your defensive unit either.

They got a lot to work on as well.

You find anyone that has said our defense is good and I'll call them an idiot with you. I was just poking jabs at asuwon who said we would not be able to run on you be ause nobody had....what did we have? 400 yards rushing? And for the 2nd year in a row our lines made your look like children.

Both teams gave up huge play after huge play. The thing is, we didn't claim to have the steel curtain coming into last nights game.

You quote a post in which I was talking about conference championships, and then claim that I stated that ULL would not be able to run on ASU.

Link?

Well excuse me, I might have gotten you confused with one of the other couple hundred people with ASU in their name, I guess you could get an attorney and sue m for slander. But hey, how bout them Cajuns though, doubling your rushing yards allowed by the beginning of the 2nd quarter.

OF course, building a big lead early and seeing that our O could score basically at will, had something to do with the defense playing poorly. We are/were under no delusion that our defense is great but their job is to hold the opponent to fewer points than we score. Mission Accomplished. Also if we would have scored more slowly, it would have helped our defense but those huge holes in your stellar defense begged to get gashed with the big runs.

No problem. I just wanted to clarify that I claimed no such thing.

I was in attendance and had a great time in Lafayette, other than the final score of the game. ULL's lines manhandled stAte's lines. This game was won and lost in the trenches. Good job ULL!

Glad you enjoyed your time, although the espn exposure is great...I really hope our games could go back to Saturday...I think the atmospheres would be a lot better at both places on a Saturday. Rough on the families to drag kids out for a 4 and half hour game on a Tuesday. Tailgating would be much better that's for sure.

You came to the game? I am glad you did, and I am glad you enjoyed it. (not the score, I understand) I also would rather games go back to Saturday.. I drove to Jonesboro in Huds first year, we lost...
It was late in the year, cool, and not as well attended as it should have been.. Game ended about 7:00 and I drove straight home.. now that was a trip... Love the relationship with you guys, glad you still in the Belt with us.. Good luck the rest of the season..

One of my sons and I drove down Monday and drove straight home after the game Tuesday night, because my son had to be at work Wednesday morning. Made it back a little before 6am. Made for a miserable day yesterday. Those late night treks used to be more manageable when I was younger. Good luck to you guys, as well.

You can't blame us for touting our defense against the run before that game. We had excellent rush defense numbers, against seemingly good competition. Compounded by our belief before the season that our line was a problem area and not seeing any problems...until that game.

I honestly think a lot of your fans wanted to put it all on harsin and the offensive play calling because that was the easier thing to do. If you really look at what our I-Lin did last year, what just happened shouldn't be a huge surprise. If you would have brought in big DT's this year to help but we got bigger on the line, y'all didn't.

Oh I don't blame yall at all, but it was still naive to think it. Ole Miss gave up 190 on the ground to the cajuns. We can run on anyone.
