On offence redshirt sophomore Romond Deloatch. He played some WR as a true freshman but was switched to TE last season before an injury caused the redshirt. The plan is to move him back to WR this season and at 6ft4 225 pounds and an exceptional athlete he will bring much needed size and physicality to the receiver spot.
On defense I have to lump them together because they came to Temple as a pair of JUCO safeties transfers Alex Wells and Shahid Lovett. Lovett comes in rated the #3 JUCO safety in the country and Wells was a JUCO All American. Both players were midyear enrollees and each had an inception in the spring game. Everything I have heard about both these players so far is extremely positive and they have been working very hard to learn the new system. The way Temples secondary, specifically the safeties folded late in games last season if these 2 players come even close to their potential Temple can be a much different defensive team with the lead late in games.

I am predicting:
Defense: Dayon Pratt-Outside linebacker
Offense: Corey Hunter-Runningback
Not sure that he even plays a snap
My bad. I was thinking Chris Hairston and typed Cory Hunter.

I predict former 5 star senior WR Chris Dunkley will finally put it all together and have a huge year. He was excellent in the return game last year, but had only 7 catches. Predict he will have a good year both returning and receiving for USF.

Offense:
QB Mike White - has had a great offseason and really showed a lot during Spring practice
TE Sean Price - he has a chance to be a revelation at TE on a national level; started coming in late 2013
RB/FB Kenard Swanson – former 4-star with ‘real’ offers from UF, LSU, Bama but grades issues landed him at USF where he defied the odds and qualified as a freshman last year and had a great spring
OL Thor Jozwiak – comeback season for a kid that had heart condition; completely healthy and probably one of the meaneast but smartest OL in the AAC
WR Chris Dunkley – Florida transfer seems poised to finally have a big year
Defense:
DE Mike Love – skinny, defensive end from St. Pete has put on weight but kept his explosiveness; Selvie-esque type of potential
LB Nigel Harris – played a lot as a freshman and has the ‘it’ factor to play the position
DB Nate Godwin – significant time as freshman, high leadership/character guy that was one of Taggart’s first ‘steals’ when he got hired as this kid has NFL type ability; athletic punishing hitter and excellent range that can play Safety or CB
I like these picks for the most part but Sean Price might not even have the most catches out of the TE's. That will probably go to McFarland.

Easier said than done. Coordinators are good enough to take away anything short: either the running or short passes that are basically aerial running plays...if that makes any sense.
Teams will make your new guys make solid throws down the field and will take away the easy stuff. Replacing any quality college QB is difficult never mind a guy who was drafted #3 overall.
Time will tell...

I almost put in McFarland into that group but Sean Price has more upside right now and from what I've read a more complete player which may mean more opportunity to stay on the field in CWT's system. Either way our TE play will be 10X better this year.

Unless I'm mistaken, the final depth chart hasn't been released for most teams. This would make most of this guess work.
I know it's just the posters opinion but, reality is that many rosters haven't even gotten their starters set yet.
I expect many new faces on both sides of the Ball for USF.

Problem with DeLoatch is he has terrible hands and has lapses in concentration. He has talent, but he hasn't put it all together. I would look at Matt Eaton and Derrek Thomas before DeLoatch. I think John Christopher is also very much an unknown and he's our second leading returning WR.

I agree on DeLoatch he can run hot and cold, I guess with just his physical skills it may be hope on my part over expectation. You’re a lot closer to recruiting than I am so I just can’t formulate an educated opinion on the new guys yet but I’m hoping for good things, it’s nice to see Temple getting some receivers with size. I like Christopher a lot, he is a great third down when you need a big first down, move the chains type receiver, I guess my hope for DeLoatch is that he can pull it together and start to fill the void left by Anderson. I would like to see Fitzpatrick step up to more of a big play role this season. After a promising sophomore season I would have to say he really didn't take as big a step forward last year as I expected. Don’t get me wrong, he had a good season last year, just not as dynamic as I expected.

Idk if he'll take off this season, but I'd like to see Trevon Brown at outside receiver break-out. 6'1" and runs a 4.28.

Look out for Matt Ioannidis who I believe is converting to DT, very talented and also like OL Dion Dawkins. Okay, I have a soft spot for the guys in the trenches.

I know a few others have mentioned RS F QB Tanner Lee. Sherman Badie, another RS F that plays RB could open some eyes as well. The kid runs like the wind! But the youth on this team is also a reason it's hard to envision getting bowl eligible. If the O-line can improve to average (it's been bad the last two years) the O will do a better job and take pressure off of the D, which ranked 22nd in the nation last year.
On D wait until the AAC sees Nico Marley. Yes, he's Bob Marley's grandson (I joked that he ran a 4.20) and Rahon Marley's (The U) son. But this guy plays D1 linebacker at all of 5'8" and is all over the field. He's a ball hawk, and fun to watch.

Offense-Davon Grayson
Defense-Montese Overton (I know he's not unknown to ECU fans but now that he's gonna be the starter I expect double digit sacks out of him.
