Except one? Really? Just because a few Cajun fans have rubbed you the wrong way shouldn't lead you to this misconception. Hell, sometimes their comments bother me. Doesn't mean you have to carry on. Be the bigger person.

I hate ULM, but I was pulling for them to beat Wake Forest - as I know many other Cajuns fans were doing.

love you too!

Love and hate are such strong words. I certainly don't love ULM nor do I hate them. In fact I kind of admire you guys. Just when I think you're dead you pull a Lazarus. You're on a shoestring budget but you manage to beat a few SEC teams and put a scare into others. I just want to be in a different conference than ULM. I think it would be best for both schools and that is mainly over the name issue.

It is either that there are more of the anti-SBC Cajuns, or those that loudly voice their displeasure, than there are of of teams or that it is the same number as other teams but their posts are more numerous and caustic than those like yours. Your total post count, combined with ROTC's equals one of their guys a day.

Exactly. I don't have the time to defend or the desire to choose to do so. I've been reading this board for many years and rarely ever post. All I am saying is that to judge an entire fan base based on message board chatter is silly. Come to one of our home games (football or baseball) and you will feel welcomed.

(There's not much tailgating involved with basketball or any other sport.)

RE: This Weeks's attendance
I am pretty sure I never said the whole fan base, just the posters. While the fan base I am sure is radically different, this board is my only window. Therefore, when it comes to teams within the conference, I can only say based on my experience. The only teams outside of this board I have experienced are Monroe and TXST.

P.S. I don't know why a poster has to belong to a school with a football team to comment. We all belong to the same conference. Perception of a conference is usually consistent across all sports.

I don't think either of the Jag fans were arguing we had 28K there.

First off, I don’t think any Cajun fan needs to apologize to the likes of FoUTA sportscaster. He or she had no problems deriding the UL program, talking about records from the 80’s that are irrelevant today to either program. He or she has had no problems exchanging barbs with Cajun fans and others for that matter. And he or she is guilty of the same things she accused CajunR90 of; sending out negative rep points and nasty private messages while blocking any response. I see no victim here, but someone that is or was willing to get done and dirty with anyone she had crossed words with. He or she is a intellectual coward that hides once she drops her venom.
