If you are the anti-gun type that is fine, just ignore this thread.

Alright, where's my Southern firearm enthusiasts?

What is your favorite firearm YOU OWN? Post pics if you got 'em, let's see what the Sun Belt has to offer. :noisycricket:

this will be my personal favorite. it's made by H&k and is fully auto. it's still in r&d stage for the USMC but it will be one bad mofo once it gets to the infantry battalions.

I own a number of military rifles. all semi-auto, but a bit more fun than the usual shotgun or bolt action rifle you find any most houses around here.

yours is the cool gun mine wants to be when it grows up...BUT...mine only cost 300 bucks and 9mm rounds are SO easy to find.

i do like the gun...i've put around 600 rounds through it...not 1 jam or misfire.

it holds 7 in the mag...1 in the barrel...it gets REAL hot after you put 2 mags through it...but i doubt i will EVER need more than the 8 shots it has standard. (knock on wood)

he's an actual pic of mine...

OK, I have three (3) weapons and a concealed handgun license.

S&W .38 5-shot Airweight. Usually carry this one. Just slip it into a pocket.

RE: OT: Favorite Firearm
yeah Memphis mine was quite a bit more expensive. however, it serves all my needs. since it is just under 1 inch wide it is very concealable and I use it as my EDC. still, it fires a big police-style .40 cal round, so it also functions as my primary home defense weapon.

the only and I mean ONLY drawback to the PPS is the magazine capacity. It comes standard with 7 rounds, so you have to keep a spare by the bed for home defense scenarios.

still, I love it. this is Walther's modern version of the old school PPK that Bond carries. It is the new sidearm for Germany's FBI and State Police. PPS stands for Police Pistol Slim.

I am pretty vanilla . . . I own and enjoy shooting my Beretta 9mm in an air conditioned, automated, indoor range . . . lol

SWAT let me shoot one of their MP5's and that was really cool. 04-bow

If you need that many round:

1. Have a baseball bat or golf club nearby.
2. Have 911 on speed-dial.
3. Give your wife voice lessons so she can develop a loud scream.
4. Go back to the firing range.
5. Run like hell.
