RE: OT: Favorite Firearm
I have quite a few favorites. My Ruger Hawkeye Compact Stainless in .308 is my favorite still hunting gun. For stalk hunting around my area my Marlin 336SS in 30/30 is fun...if going out west or in thick brush I reach for my Marlin 1894SS in 44mag or Marlin 1895STBL in 45/70 especially for hog hunting. I used to take my Browning Citori 12ga for dove hunting, but now I shoot primarily a Benelli Montefletro Sliver in 12ga. I still love my Citori for quail hunting. For skeet I like to shoot a Browning Gold Youth 20ga, we also have a Browning Citori Diana Grade 12ga that handles like a dream. I have 3 different Ruger sidearms I usually carry as well. A Ruger Redhawk Hunter in 44mag, a Ruger Single Six is fun when the caliber is enough...but recently I picked up a Ruger Blackhawk in 44mag(my new fav).

For home defense it is a Remington 870, AR, Mini-30, or Glock 17. For concealed carry I usually have my Ruger LCP somewhere nearby.

I am working on a Remington 700 SS in 30/06 for the upcoming season as well...Shillen barrel, Timmeny trigger, grade III claro walnut stock california roll-over w/ monte carlo cheekpiece.

If I can ever get the money I would love to have one of these http://www.montanarifleco.com/ with one of these http://www.accurateinnovations.com/ Probably my dream rifle.

I have a Ruger SP101 (.357)....and love it! Though, it's the hardest kicking gun I've owned.

It was my dad's for years and he just gave it to me the other day. It is actually the pistol I learned to shoot with so the kick doesn't bother me very much.

Sounds like a damn howitzer though...

NCowl....I have two of those! They are great when you're out camping!!! And very inexpensive to shoot!

Much like bb and pellet guns. Years ago, I had a 'shooting range' in my garage. Living in a city, I was able to shoot all through the winter.

Yeah, I had one when I was a kid, my dad got me 1/4 inch lead balls to shoot... man those things could do damage.
