Agree. I also don't believe in ADD. Put'em in front of Halo. See how they work out that "deficiency".

ADHD (attention defecit & hyperactive disorder) is recognized by the state as a disability. I never really heard of it until I met my wife and her kid. Putting aside all the symptoms, and there are many, his diagnosis also includes the ring of fire. An image of his brain, looking for the top down, shows a red ring which is all his neurons firing at once. That makes him hyper, impulsive (which gets him in trouble) and can cause him to have an extreme focus on something or be easily distracted - it all depends on his interest. After learning about the ailment and talking to a ton of Ph.D's I see a little ADHD in a lot of people. And yes, put him infront of a video game and he does very well, there is no deficiency. You doubters probably see it in people and not recognize it it, but if you know someone with a truly bad case you would tend to believe in it.

Mach, you out there? What do you do with ADHD kids in your school?

damn, thats crazy. the condition isn't cool, but i do have to say that Ring of Fire is a totally awesome name. talk about a good conversation starter.

Fine. As long as they return this family's tax dollars when they kick the kid out.

I believe you are tongue in cheek, but you wouldn't support returning tax dollars to anti-war folks, would you? Or some other seemingly silly example.

Yes...I would support the removal of ALL theft of our wages regardless of where they are used. I do however have no problem voluntarily supporting things that I use.. or deem of value. I just have a problem with not having ANY control over that portion of the fruits of MY labor.

You hit the nail on the head. Both sides are thieves and simply shift the direction in which they spend the loot, depending on who is in power at the time. The theft however continues unabated.
