There's a vocal minority, most of which are recent additions to the party infrastructure like myself. The majority of GOP people disagree with Paul, in that they:

1) Are fine and dandy with Afghanistan and Iraq
2) Are fine with torture
3) Don't want to legalize marijuana or even industrial hemp
4) Think it's a good idea that the government can spy on people without warrants. Or they take the naive "It won't happen to me" or "You only are against that if you have something to worry about" tracks.
5) Don't really have a respect for a literal interpretation of the Constitution

nice fairy-tale you've created there

I agree with point 5 though, even the characterization of it.

Constitutional Literalism and Constitutional Originalism are not the same thing. Originalism is about what the Founders actually meant, which includes reading the Declaration, Federalist and Anti-Federalist papers, writings of their most influentiatial writers(Montesquieu, Blackstone) and what they did and argued once they ran the show in the first several congresses, Supreme Courts and Administrations. Things like the "Implied Powers" doctrine...

I think it similar to Biblical Literalism vs. Biblical Infallibility interpretations of the Bible. Both of which are far different from Liberal theologians.

Don't think so, just two fringe potus runs

His son is though in Kentucky, doubt he'll win though from what I understand he doesn't hold as many fringe views or is atleast better distanced from them.

Those views are much easier to hold for a congressman(1 out of 535), a talk show host, and a Senator(1 out of 100). None of which have to actually Govern

Your anti-Paul boner has lasted for way more than four hours in this thread. Time to consult a doctor.

So you are saying that sticking some medical instrument up into a Woman's Uterus and Scraping it so it induces labor causing an ABORTION is NOT Invasive ??????

UMMMMMMM ...... that one is a little "Off Key" in so many ways that it is just Wrong.
