RE: CHICAGO BULLS!!!
These games with New Jersey are always tough one's, with us losing a close one. Our guards don't match up with their big physical guards. Nonetheless, this was an exciting game to watch the last two quarters.

not if hinrich and deng are involved
Deng is going nowhere...Hinrich possibly.
Horrible 1st half today, too many TOs, strong 2nd half though. Though Big Ben was gonna get that tip in

The Bulls could win 55 games this year, getting Kobe would bring them down into the mid 40s total. Kobe would help assure the UC sells out and will sell extra merchandise, but he will not bring more wins or improved playoff chances and that is what its all about. Bulls would just be the Lakers, with no depth and a bunch of bad players, not a good situation.

exactly, the lakers want to much and the one thing that makes the bulls so strong with their bench would now have to start and our bench would be way to weak

Mid 50's in wins? It's the same damn team as last year with the same problems. Can't score inside, can't get to the free throw line, undersized guards. How in the hell can the best guard in the NBA make your team worse? Kobe makes the Bulls an instant Finals contender provided if Paxson can keep Deng and one of Gordon/Hinrich.

They do? Now that Dallas has said that they are out of the Kobe sweepstakes, the Bulls hold the cards. The Bulls are the only realistic option for Kobe to go to. My God, I don't understand why some Bulls fans don't want to do this. I'm a huge Gordon fan, but he's not going to get much better than what he currently is. I'm not impressed with Noah at all and if it takes Thomas to get Kobe, I'd trade his ass too.
Everyone talks about the Cavs and how they haven't improved. You guys need to open your eyes. Neither have we. Joe Smith? Yipee. Trade Noah now while he has value before he becomes a bust. This current team has "2nd round exit" written all over it.

all im saying is if hinrich or deng are involved im completely against those two should be untouchable, but i still dont agree. The bulls imo can win the east without him

No they can't. They can't beat New Jersey. Boston is better than them and so is Detroit.
Think about it. Kobe solves the FT problem as he can get to the line 20 times a game. There is NO ONE on this team that can get to the line 10 times a game. That's a remarkable difference. Not to mention we'd actually be on the beneficiary of star calls and what not.
Paxson has already said that he's not trading Deng. Everyone knows that. I'd trade Hinrich if it meant that we kept Gordon. A PG should not be in foul trouble every damn game.

RE: CHICAGO BULLS!!!
I just have a good feeling that the trade will be done by the weekend.
Kings want to get rid of Artest, Kobe wants out, Mavs dont want Kobe..Everything is falling into place perfectly for the Pax.
I'm thinking Wallace will be gone (even out contracts) and then either one of Hinrich/Gordon, Thomas/Noah, and then a 1st rd pick for next year for Kobe and Farmar. I'm hoping Pax can get it down w/ Gordon, Noah, PJ Brown (sign n trade), and picks though but whatever the deal is, the Bulls will end up with the better deal

Exactly, Hinrich is supposed to be one of the leaders for the Bulls, yet he gets in foul trouble way too often and he's not out on the floor like he should be.

Chris Sheridan has an article up on ESPN.com. Deng HAS been included in proposals, but Kobe has vetoed those.

ur saying hinrich is in foul trouble after one game real smart, and gordon is nothin but a liability on the court for everything except his shooting, he cant handle the ball and he cant play defense if it comes down to it u trade gordon before hinrich, ben cannot play point and if we put him there everyone will see that real fast

I completely disagree, Hinrich is a great asset to this team and he is a great leader. He was in foul trouble today because you had him guarding very physical guards who are veterans and therefore get the calls to go their way. He had a bunch of ticky-tack fouls going against him. Hinrich has gotten better every year with the Bulls. He averaged 17 ppg, shot 45% from the field, and had over 6 apg last season. He penetrates well, dribbles well, makes great decisions, and is the best defender on the team after Ben Wallace.

I'm basing that off his first 4 years in his career, not just one game. And look at the playoff series against Detroit last year. It was Gordon that actually did a good job on Detroit's guards while Chauncy and Rip tore up Hinrich time after time. Gordon's defense is improving.

Does anyone know anything about the NBA salary cap?
I'm thinking the Bulls wont have enough $$$ to keep Wallace, Hinrich, Kobe and then sign Deng in the offseason. So either Hinrich or Wallace probably has to go.

hinrich is already signed long term along with wallace so that would be hard to get rid of either

I'm just thinking that it will be easier to match salaries w/ Lakers and Kings if one of these two are involved.
