Could we please put this game into the "blind squirrel" category?

If performances like this one don't continue, this game better not be why Robinson doesn't get :python:

These last minute garbage scores are merely the result of the big dog calling the beating to a halt. This was a beat down of the first order. 05-mafia

The game is now over down in Tampa. USF pimpslapped UNC by a final score of 37-10.

USF looked impressive! Also, West Virginia's boards were getting pounded by ECU fans saying that because they "kept it close" against WVU the last 2 years that West Virginia fans had no reason to talk smack. That is insane. Now Krocker and company won't have to hear that anymore!

The same type of thing happened at the end of the USF-UNC game. But it's okay. The Big East out and out owns the Tar Heel State this afternoon.

RE: Big East scoreboard 9-22-07
I apologize to Syracuse fans for probably ensuring Robinson is still around next season. He just beat the only Big East coach worse than himself. It won't happen, but I'd support KragCooper being fired tomorrow. The guy is not only in over his head, he has no organization or team discipline. I simply can't believe he actually was a head coach prior to this season. The guy is a complete joke. The defense is quite possibly the worst in I-A. He's somehow managed to take what has the talent to be a Top 3 national offense and run it into the ground with piss-poor play calling & player mismanagement. Then to top it off, his team now looks like a John L. Smith clone where they're top 10 in the country in penalties, many of them 15 yard personal fouls.

As for Urrutia, the guy constantly drops balls, making him anything but a fan favorite. He also continued his penalty trend today though, with 30 yards after 2 personal fouls. I'd be fine if I didn't seem him in a UofL jersey the rest of the season, and would love a 1 game sit down. Unfortunately, KragCooper will continue playing him. I don't normally like it, but I loved hearing him be booed when he came back into the game in the 4th quarter. He had to know it was solely for him. Maybe he'll get it through his thick skull he's impressed no one.

Neither team looked like they had a clue what defense is today. They combined for 1107 total yards (983 of them in the air and only 124 on the ground). Both teams also committed 11 penalties each for roughly 100 yards apiece.

Andrew Robinson clearly had handoff and/or nervousness issues in the fourth quarter as well since he fumbled twice and both instances led to Louisville touchdowns on the ensuing drives. It was exciting but not exactly good.

A team so many people here love, Navy, kicked a field goal on the last play of the game to beat Duke 46-43.

Two other teams many people here like, Boston College and Army, also played with the Eagles winning 37-17.

A team most people here love to hate, Notre Dame, lost to Michigan State 31-14 to drop to 0-4 this season.
