UL will pull it together, but Syracuse may hang around until late in the game...

South Florida pads the lead to 17-3 as their field goal kicker did NOT miss from 32 yards out.

Still trying to digest Louisville giving up a 93 yard kickoff return TD right after tying the game.

I'm trying to figure out where Syracuse got all of this speed from! They look good! And Robinson is coaching his @ss off! Their defense is stout, and their special teams impressive. And they have opened up the offense and are playing with enthusiasm! The 'Cuse aren't going to be an easy out it seems, especially at the Dome!

I'm not sure it is Syracuse's coaching that has the game where it is right now...

I'm about 90% of the way towards taking back all comments I made this week about giving Krapthorpe time. His coaching, or lack there of, is pathetic and little league-esque. UofL is playing pitifully in all 3 aspects of the game.

If we were playing anyone else, we'd be down by around 3 TD's. We've given Syracuse the ball so many times around midfield or better its ridiculous, but they haven't done much with it.

College Card, do you think your team's players might still be in shock from the Kentucky loss, or anything like that? Syracuse looked downright terrible in the replays I saw from their Illinois game last Saturday and, normally, Louisville should be able to destroy the Illini any day of the week.

There is no way they can be as bad as they are playing so far today. Even your quarterback and receivers are not looking as crisp as usual up to this point. I would think those guys should be able to just go out and take care of business regardless of anything the defense does (or doesn't do).

The West Virginia offense is looking like a thing of beauty today. The Mountaineers push ahead 24-0 on a 12 yard TD pass from White to Reynaud. Key plays on the drive were passes of 9 yards and 12 yards to Brandon Hogan, a 9 yard pass to Jalloh, and a couple of short runs by White, Slaton, and Schmitt.

Well, now we are down 2 TD's, because if you give someone enough wide open chances, even the Cuse will take advantage of it. No matter the outcome of this game, I'm done with Krapthorpe until he proves me wrong. I apologize to Maize and many others on the UofL boards for saying we should give Krag some time.

Wow. Just wow. Andrew Robinson's newfound arm strength continues to work wonders for Syracuse as he connects with Damon Merkerson for a 43 yard TD pass. The Orange now lead Louisville 21-7 with about 4:00 remaining in the first half.

That's the worst half of football for UofL since Ron Cooper went 1-10 in 1997. Kragthorpe's even ruined the offense. What a disgrace.

Wow, it's hard to believe that the Cardinals are having so much difficulty.

WVU and USF looked great. Syracuse's QB had to be thinking it was a dream, but then realized it was the reality of the Louisville secondary. He took advantage of it though to his credit, throwing for long TD's.

Everyone thought UC was going to have trouble with their transition year under a new coach. Who would have thought UC looks better than ever and Louisville is the team struggling with the new staff.

Just got back home, was at the game and our group was SO DISGUSTED we left along with about 1/3 of the Stadium in attendance.

We will lose today and unfortunately we are worse then I suspected. Forget about being the new Boston College with this jack@$$ as coach we might become the new Temple.

Jurich better do something or forget Stadium expansion. The crowd at Papa John's is/was very salty.
