Sunday was an 8-8 day for the SBC, with Troy and Georgia State both playing double headers.

For those that didn't follow it. USM was up 5-4 in the 4th with 2 outs against LTech, but they scored 8 before we got the 3rd out, with no HRs. Finished as n 18-11 loss and "The worst pitching performance" Coach Oz "has ever been associated with". Granted, 3-4 pitchers who have never thrown a pitch in 1A ball were sent to the mound, so Oz sacrificed a nice offensive performance to try and see what his newest pitchers have. Maybe to show them how far they have to go?

There's a method to the madness I hope. Oz is looking ahead but we gotta figure it out soon.

Something I put on the Den. Maybe y'all can explain. stAte's pitching is lousy. The deeper we get into the staff the worse it gets. Just finished a 3 game series. Why would you schedule two midweek games...Tuesday and Wednesday in front of a 3 game conference series. We don't have enough pitching for that. So any ideas that this makes sense except Raffo is a failure at everything about this program. I keep hearing he may be getting close to retiring. The next guy may be as bad but at least its somebody else. You know what you get.now.
