That’s how most of his teams start the season, but this one is more experienced and took better care of the ball early on. At any rate, we need to get that under control.

I got a fever, and the only cure is more Jayden. Gotta have more Jayden, baby!!

This is the worst coached team I've ever seen.

Can losing Mills lead to such a downfall defensively? We have become atrocious in that aspect compared to the early part of the season.

We , in all reality, should be 2-4 in conference. I'm done with Penny. Penny today is Penny 6 years ago. Nothing has changed. Nothing will change. Horrible defense, no offense, horrible rebounding, lack of fundamentals. This season could come off the rails quick.

He was a pretty good defender and calm on the ball. It helps to have a calming presence on the court. I thought JQ had that in him too, but he’s been loose with the rock recently.

Last few minutes of the half he had Quinerly, j harden, young, jones, and dandridge on the floor. Makes no sense.

We miss mills a bunch. Best on ball defender. Good ball handler. Could score.

This team just had a week off after two straight losses…and somehow they keep getting worse.
It’s so disappointing.

They are hard to watch.. Bad Coaching low IQ BB players.. Dandridge gets the ball down low with no one around and actually waits like 2 seconds before dunking it.. Jones can’t handle the ball and makes lazy passes.. Why Penny’s boys play that much is beyond my comprehension.. We may win this game but it won’t take away the fact that this team is way to talented to play the way they are playing.. We should be killing this team, UAB is not any good but a lot of teams we have played aren’t that good so I guess it’s to be expected..I understand it is hard to win on the road but when you turn it over like we have anyone could stay in the game.. value the ball and we are up 10 easy..

Your last sentence is it in a nutshell. I have been watching the Tigers play since 1960 and have never seen such a weak rebounding Tiger team. UAB is getting 3 or 4 cracks at the basket on one play. No Tiger wants to go to war on the boards. And turnovers are like a bunch of freshmen playing their first D-1 game. It a shame with so much potential. Tigers haven't been the same since Christmas break except for the big improvement in Dandridge's play. If Penny can't turn this around the Tigers will be lucky to get an NIT bid. I will have to say they play better when they play often. A week off only helps injuries. I am getting too old to wait till next year to see a really good season of Tiger domination. My bucket list is getting full. Hope the second half is an improvement.
