MT fans, any comments?

I think many MT fans have given up hope. I was embarrassed to even click on the thread because of how bad we are. Tough to lose Kermit and go from Top 25 to a 300-level team, which I'm not sure we've ever had in my lifetime.

Hope MT learns a lesson. Do NOT let your president make your damn athletic hires. But our Prez thinks he's a King, and love his photo ops.

He's gone in December 2026. Maybe Murfreesboro can have a parade to celebrate. I know our Mayor, our alumni, our fans, and the local police will rejoice when that day comes.

Nick McDevitt is in his 5th season at Middle Tennessee. It took Kermit Davis ten years to get Middle Tennessee into the NCAA tournament. Although Middle Tennessee is having its problems, I find it interesting that Blue Raider fans had so much patience and love for Davis and McDevitt is so disliked in half the time.

There's a lot more to it.

Even in his first year, Davis made the SBC tournament finals at Western (and again in 2008)

Kermit certainly raised the bar, but he had only one losing during his first 9 years.

Many fans were wanting him gone at that time.

But......Kermit changed and evolved. He has a very outgoing personality and was smart about making friends with the high-rollers.

I wish nothing but the best for Coach McDevitt. He is a very likable guy. Our guys are still playing hard and maybe we will go on a run to end the season. Who knows ?
