Congrats App! Those first two shots we took in OT were not good and we looked tired. We only scored 2 points in OT and part of that was bc of App and some of that was the team being tired. This is what happens when our coach tends to play only 6-7 people on the team. We see it every year.

The USA announcers were funny and fun.

I came on to say the same thing, I also appreciated production teams' attempts to give extra stats consistently like a more expensive production would do, props all around to South Alabama's media team.

Can confirm, Georgia Southern is legitimately a 1-13 team. They stuck with Man defense the entire game despite being unable to cover multiple players in iso situations.

AState sets a record for most points scored in a Sun Belt game that didn't go 4 Overtimes. (We beat UALR in 4 OT's 116-114 in the tournament 10 years ago) Previous highest was 95 points.

Until Richard is gone, I have given up on ULM MBB. Honestly, I think he is just riding out the season for the paycheck. Damn sure ain't coaching, recruiting or developing. Fundamentally unsound. Marshall did everything they could to try and give us this game at the end but we saw through your ruse and refused to take the bait. Snatching defeat from the jaws of victory.

Once Gaiter got tired it was all over. Nobody else really stepped up for the Jags. One thing Kerns has focused on this year is spreading out the minutes with the deepest roster we've had in years. It made a difference tonight. I'm just glad to leave Mobile with a win which is always tough to do.

I was at the game and left immediately after the clock hit 00:00. Totally missed everything so I can’t address anything regarding the situation. It was a contested game and tempers flared afterwards. These types of antics are not common for a Marlin team, but who knows. Nothing wrong with a little hate. Hopefully we hook up in March. That would be fun.

Like your players and team, but Marlin I have no respect for and he is a bad look for the University. Otherwise the game was more physical than any JMU has played so far and that caused a lot of problems early.

Still want you to win out so we can make that a Quad 2 win.

You could audibly hear the fans on the broadcast all game long. Let's just say what you could hear wasn't FCC friendly.

Really hard fought game. I felt like the refs let the game get a bit out of hand. There were definitely some questionable calls on both ends. Personally, I just want to see consistency in the calls. There was very little consistency.

Sun Belt conference play is brutal. Whichever team makes it out alive is going to be tested when the NCAAT comes along.
Yes, JMU is undefeated, but I am not going to take conference play for granted. It is not going to be easy. Obviously I really hope we can get through it, but nothing is guaranteed when it comes to JMU MBB. I have suffered with this team for decades and not fully prepared to say the suffering is over.

He has been here WAY too long. I’d say 90% of the fanbase is ready for a change. The run to the NCAA last year extended his contract a couple years too. I’m ready to hire a young energetic coach to bring this program back to what it was.

I’m not sure you will get what you are hoping for. We are 7-7 at the moment and just don’t see us making a huge run at this point.
