I do not know of a sport where the high level is so fun to watch, but low level is so painful to watch.

I am going to the Final on Sunday. I bought a pair two weeks ago and will take my 13-year old niece, whose became interested in the sport two years ago at their Y, as her Christmas present.

Last year, my commute was interrupted by the police escort for Wisconsin to the final four when it was in Columbus.

Bullet with the catch of my fumble. And I watched some of the Wisconsin vs. Oregon match, thus making my mistake all the more glaring. How I got "Wyoming" this morning ... had not enjoyed any coffee at that point and was not fully clear-headed.

Should be a strong final four.

Good point. The best teams are talent heavy and hugely fun to watch. I'm ready for what should be a strong semi-finals.

Texas-Nebraska for the national championship. Nebraska swept Pitt 3-0. Texas beat Wisconsin 3-1.
Nebraska is 2nd and Texas 3rd in final 4 appearances behind Stanford. Nebraska is 3rd with 5 behind Stanford and Penn St. in titles. Texas is tied for 5th-8th (UCLA has 4) with 3. Texas also has an AIAW title as do Hawaii, Long Beach St. and USC who share 5th with 3 NCAA titles each.

In 1995 and 2015 Nebraska and Texas met in the final with Nebraska winning both times.

Texas top player Madi Skinner won a title with Kentucky (beating Texas) in 2020 and one with Texas in 2022 and has a chance to win a 3rd. She is from Houston, but spent her first two years at Kentucky.

Not sure if this Texas team is as outstanding as last year's team (with Logan Eggleston gone) but it is still very strong.

I did not see much of Pitt vs. Nebraska. Obviously, Nebraska is powerful.

This should be a very exciting and competitive title match.
