App lost by 13 to UNC Asheville last night. They had a Charlotte native and VCU transfer that dropped 9 3’s on us in the first half. He was 10-12 from 3 for the game. Our starting PG also left the game with an injury, but not sure it would have made a difference with him healthy. UNCA’s record is pedestrian but they are picked to win their conference. We did not seem prepared for this game. We’ve been sleepwalking through the first half of our games recently then exploding in the 2nd. UNCA’s halftime lead was too big to overcome and they played well enough to keep us down.

Sometimes you need games like this to refocus the team. Shows the guys “you are not who you think you are and can be beaten if you don’t bring it every possession”. It’ll be a good learning experience.

Yea, but man, was it frustrating to watch them.

Games like that happen, especially near the holiday break. JMU let Morgan State hang around today far too long for my liking.

ODU beat Temple, 78-63 in Hawaii. Had 4 players in double figures.

We just got slapped by the plantation owner’s wife by 17.

We beat Rice at their place 84-67.
