Unfortunately he was just buried at DT in a system that only has one on the field at a time. Could see him doing quite well for himself in the AAC, MAC, or SBC

Notre Dame OL and Anderson grad Zeke Correll entered his name in the portal. That's kind of odd because he's a 2 year starter, and I can't see a much better "opportunity" somewhere else. Could he want to finish his career closer to home? Unless someone is dangling some serious NIL money in his face?

Might be the lack of it from ND and trying to get something somewhere else. Our interior OL is arguably the strength of the offense, but it would never be a bad thing if we get a P5 starter to throw into the mix.

I'm pretty down on this coaching staff following the end of the season but I certainly want to see what they might do in the portal. Someone else suggested that we shouldn't get too concerned about player losses from a three win team. Clearly, an infusion of talent is needed so I'll reserve judgment until we see player losses compared with gains.

Zeke went to school with my kids. Feels like he was a senior about 9 years ago.

I am somewhat disappointed this is a serious topic. I thought it might be like what would be your porn name, or your action movie star name.

Threats was one i was hoping would stay. i can't blame him. That defensive scheme is a highwire act and there's a season's worth of film showing the secondary, not necessarily Threats, getting blistered. i don't think it's his fault but there is probably a lot of guilt by association.

Threats was a name that immediately came to mind when Satt made comments towards the end of the season about playing disciplined since he had just gotten kicked out of a game for bumping a ref. Also a small guy to be playing safety. Solid player but given his style and tendency to target not too upset.
