RE: Power Rankings - After Week 8

While UL has previously beaten Texas State they have losses to (and I think would lose to) the other schools above them. In the case of Texas State I had them ranked 4th and won’t drop them just because Louisiana had beaten them earlier in the season. IMHO Texas State has a better overall resume and they do have a better W-L record.

That is fair. Hypothetically, had Zeon completed that pass to beat GAST, where would you have them? Still at #4? Genuinely just curious.

UL didn't win so I really haven't considered it. Really JMU and maybe Troy are the only two teams that have separated themselves from the middle of the pack so 3-9 in my ranking are all pretty close teams. Had Louisiana won I probably would have placed them at 3rd and dropped Georgia State somewhere around 6. Again though that didn't happen. Louisiana will move back up my ranking if they continue to win for sure.

I agree and as many have stated the middle is deep and interchangeable. Thanks for indulging me here and being a good sport. I was never butthurt by the rankings either, simply curious.
