I'm not ready to call GSU or ASU easier games. GSU is probably the second best team in the east and ASU is just as good as anybody.

Away vs Ga St I think will be our toughest test the rest of season. I'd be nervous if Appy was on the road, but they aren't, and Coastal caps off the season which I doubt guys will let up for.

Last home game for McCall. And they will be highly motivated after last year.

Looking at next week's Top 25 schedule, stars could align for Gameday at JMU. not many good games to pick from.. we could and should still be the Hot story...

Can't emphasize this one enough. All the media coverage, potential top 25 ranking, we won back to back revenge games, lower perception of ODU. All the makings of coming out flat.

ODU might not be a great team, but they are figuring out their identity this year, and have been improving lately.

So how good is this ODU team, truly?

Massey has them as 104th in the country and we're 19 point favorites (before this weekend's games). It looks similar to Marshall in that their offense appears to be heavily carried by one top RB, Calloway.

It looks like ODU's offense skews more towards run first. JMU has the clear defensive advantage (except for pass D statistically but we're improving). Their offense matches up perfectly with our defensive strengths. Their pass D is also nothing to write home about, ranking 105th to our 127th rank (improved from 132nd).

If JMU continues to play like we have, we win easily. ODU needs JMU to have a bad day on both sides of the ball to have a real shot.

Sorry "they're" Not "their". I graduated from JMU, Not ODU

ODU doesn't have much offense. From what I've seen they kinda play mickey ball. Their defense does tend to cause turnovers, so as long as we're careful with the ball, should come out with a win. Think our coaches might play this one conservatively though to ensure that.

I don't want to give them bulletin board material, but I'm still not sold on them. I feel like they've played some really soft teams. UConn, Rhody, Charlotte are all hideous. I've long felt Coastal was a lot more hype than ability, and they only win by making opponents queasy looking at that turf.
