RE: Rank Your Remaining Schedule
There's not an easy out left on Georgia Southern's schedule. I could see us loosing every remaining game...I could also see us winning every remaining game.
1. JMU
2. App
3. Marshall
4. Texas St
5. Georgia St
6. ODU
7. ULM

1) App State (H) - The mountaineers are always a tough matchup.
2) GA Southern (A) - Long history of exciting games between the schools.
3) GA State (H) - Having a good year so far and should be a tough game.
4) Liberty (A) - Unbeaten and will be a tough in-state rivalry game.
5) Coastal Carolina (H) - They're looking for revenge and have a dangerous QB.
JMCC (A) - Trap game scheduled in between our home matchups with App State and Coastal. Hope ODU doesn't overlook them.
LOL, if JMU is a community college, ODU is a third world daycare located in the basement of a sewage treatment plant. Which actually isn't too far off.
LOL. You got your shot in already Buck (post #8 above).

It's just too funny to try and burn us as JMCC....when only one of our two schools was started as a 2-year degree feeder school....and the other was a college from the get-go ...

Our playmakers probably don't get enough credit for making McCall look great as well... Pinckney, Brown, Beasley, Bennett etc are all pretty good weapons. The biggest issues up to this point has been playcalling, the O-Line, and ironically McCall. We'll see how things progress.

JMU when it was founded couldn't award 4-year degrees. It was founded in 1908 as a state normal and industrial school for women, renamed the State Normal School for Women at Harrisonburg, in 1914, and it wasn't until 1916 (8 years after it was founded) that the school was authorized to award bachelor’s degrees.

ODU was founded back in 1930 as the Norfolk branch of the College of William & Mary (founded in 1693) - the second-oldest institution of higher education in the United States and the ninth-oldest in the English-speaking world. That was pretty prestigious company for a school to get their start with over 90 years ago.
There are just 146 institutions in the country that are classified as "R1: Doctoral Universities – Very high research activity" in the Carnegie Classification of Institutions of Higher Education as of the 2021 update of the list. Of those 146 universities, 5 are located in Virginia.

Everyone seems to have a very tough gauntlet to run through on the back end of the schedule.
App isn't consistent enough to win the east this year, but we get three weeks to improve before the really tough ones.
The next three games on paper are the easier ones (CCU, ODU, USM), but I would bet we drop one of those. Then we finish with Marshall, GA St., JMU, and GS. Our ceiling is likely 8-4 with that schedule.
If you do make it there that rematch would be sweet
If I'm in Vegas I'm putting our odds at 1:15, would be worse if JMU were eligible.
I'd like to change my difficulty rankings, we will make each one of them the same as we can't help ourselves.

I really don’t know how to rank this last run. Actually it’s even Tougher than what’s listed above:
1. LSU (the money game)
2. App St (the curse)
3. JMU (the best in conference)
4. Marshall (the most fearless)
5. Louisiana (the wildcard)
6. GS (the rival)
7. ODU (the spoiler)

Not sure how I forgot about LSU. Was just thinking conference opponents I suppose. Obviously they're #1 on the list. After last night I'm not overly concerned about Appy St. Not calling it a win just yet but they're the Appy of prior years.

Just letting you know that your school was not a 4-year bachelor's degree school when it began as your post that I responded to implied. No need to move the goal post with your response. You apparently don't even know your own school's history.
