Cristobal doesn't. Did the same thing at Oregon in 2018 and lost in OT. At least that time Stanford still had a timeout left and Oregon would've had to punt with 15 seconds left.

Bad day for the state of Texas. Texas teams went a combined 2-8 on the day, with one of the victories and losses being Texas Tech over Baylor.

Iowa State over TCU 27-14
Texas Tech over Baylor 39-14
UConn over Rice 38-31 for UConn's first win
Louisiana over Texas State 34-30
Navy over North Texas 27-24
UTSA did beat Temple though, 49-34
Alabama over Texas A&M 26-20
Oklahoma over Texas 34-30
Liberty over Sam Houston State 21-16, Bearkats still looking for their first win as an FBS team.

I went to bed after the 2nd OT. Didn't know how long it would go on. Did figure that Arizona had blown their chances and USC would finally win it.

Watched the second half and OTs of the Arizona vs. USC game. Very exciting. USC has some concerns on defense.

Actually both teams looked sloppy on both sides of the ball in that 2nd half. USC didn't look anything like a top 10 team.

Until they find a defense they aren't.

Then it looks like next Saturday is for the Pac 12 Championship... or at least Round 1 of 2.

Given their remaining schedule, finishing 6-5 is a possibility. Even if they hold on and get into the playoffs, this would be a team an SEC team would steamroll.

Yeah I know, right???

Too bad we can't schedule more easy games with ACC teams. We're 1-0 against them.

I suppose Pitt is playing like a Big XII noob

You walked right into it, bro.

Perhaps think before trolling.

Lamar, Incarnate Word, Prairie View, Commerce, Trinity, Mary Hardin, Sul Ross, Howard Payne, Hardin-Simmons, UTPB, Kingsville, SAGU are the other Texas schools that won their football games.

Walked into what? Pitt isn’t very good.

I’m just reminding the loudest off-season woofers where their teams are ranked. I don’t recall Pitt fans talking trash. Everyone here got to read chest thumping for over a year; I think we can enjoy a little Karma together as sports fans, no? All in good fun!

04-cheers

There are too many other games that will matter. The Oregon-UW game is a great matchup, but it is just one game. The USC vs Notre Dame game next Saturday will be a good matchup, the USC offense vs the Notre Dame defense on the road. USC has the top scoring offense in the nation, and they have Caleb Williams. They will not be easy to beat. If UCLA can find a way to beat Oregon State next week in Corvalis, they have one ranked team on their schedule for the rest of the season, that being USC at the Coliseum. They don't play Oregon or Washington this season. If Utah can get quarterback Cam Rising back, they have a shot at the CCG. Oregon State and Washington State are both ranked and still very much alive.
