RE: Indiana, Louisville canceling final two games of 3-game series
We (Memphis) have had over the years Tennessee, Arkansas, Miami, Missouri (ultimatum - either play in MO or cancel) & Purdue cancel on us. Hard to get P5 schools to play us H/H or buy games plus we now have an AD & coach that would rather have wins against FCS & G5 bottom feeders than play games OOC that fans want to see. On the positive side Ole Miss & Miss St do play us H/H sporadically because they recruit the Memphis area hard & have fans in the Memphis area - and we do have AR on the schedule H/H but who knows when the time comes if they will play the games.

Should have been ~ten year ago, though. (UC too.) Darn that UT AD.

I would rather rebuild the ACC than go West. We have nothing in common outside of UC, WVU, UCF in the Big VII

You won't need to go far west much; plenty of eastern company will be coming with you to form the Big XII's Atlantic Division no later than the fall of 2036. 03-thumbsup

However, one interesting development would be if UNC decides to pass on the ~100% increase in conference earnings via staying in the ACC rather than going to the B1G or SEC at that time. Then some teams like UofL would stay in the ACC with them. "Would you rather be the big fish in a small pond (ACC), or a small fish in a big pond (B1G/SEC)?" (and is it worth the huge financial costs of the former option)

My crystal ball also shows that the B1G will eventually take Stanford, and maybe Cal, if they and SF clean up their act. It's not hard for them to do, once they have the desire to do so.

It's a lot more likely that Big 12 teams (like Kansas) will be moving to the ACC rather than it would be for ACC teams to be moving to the Big 12.04-cheers

Well, your opinion is not the most common one here. At least for ~2036.

However, something that could happen is many media companies crash and burn soon, so all the next non-P2/ND contracts are much lower. Then, yes, I could see a team go for the ACC money until 2036. However, they and other leftbehinds would then jump to the Big XII due to the mass movement of top ACC teams to the P2.
