Saw we had the thread regarding volleyball, so did not think it was wrong to get one going on C-USA women's soccer schedules and other information in the lead up to the season...

UTEP schedule makes no reference to a league tournament; presume that will be rolled out in coming days as C-USA meetings wrap up. Four home and four away games for each C-USA squad.

Same as Volleyball--I don't get it. Why have travel partners?

Example--old method

SHSU at WKU-- Fri(or Sat.) then play AT MT (Sat. or Sun.)--- fly home.

Need 10 teams to do it, right? Wish we had clarity (and perhaps we can ask) if this scheduling is a one year deal until league is at 10 programs…

Tech beat Colorado College 3-1

Jax State started slow, but finished strong as expected against AAMU, 5-0.

Liberty had never beaten VCU on the road before their 2-1 win at VCU today. They had lost 4 straight times to VCU. VCU is projected to be 2nd in the A-10.

NMSU won their game against Portland St

Bearkats struggled early against Prairie View but were able to come back from their 0-2 hole in the second half to knock off the upset-minded Panthers. 4-2 final from Huntsville. Kats take on ULM on Sunday.

MTSU tied 1-1 vs ULL

Liberty wins home opener vs. Delaware 1-0. Delaware had previously upset Syracuse.

I am so glad you are not in the ASUN anymore. Now we can easily win the ASUN for years to come.

Sam Houston falls to ULM 3-1, were doomed by a pair of Warhawk PKs. Not a good loss against a team picked to finish near the bottom of the Sun Belt.

Field temps in Huntsville this afternoon were around 120.

This was kind of sad to watch. The Gamecocks will have their first real test this Thursday at Samford, then again Sunday at UAB.

congrats.

Liberty women's soccer upsets West Virginia in Lynchburg 3-1. Probably biggest win in program history. Team is now 6-0 on the year. West Virginia led 1-0 before Liberty scored 3 times in the last 18 minutes, two goals in the final four minutes.

NMSUs squad has moved to 3-2-1 with wins over CS Fullerton, Pacific and a tie with UIW. Losses so far to Texas Tech and ASU. Got some tough games coming up before conference play hosting UNLV then @UNM and @USC.

Bearkats host AAC member Rice tonight in Huntsville at 7:30 PM
