Any players worth considering?

Replace your entire team with our entire team from last year and see how they do in the league, we'll call it a science experiment...

Marshall's Micah Handlogten, Freshman of the year, is in the portal. You have to go back to the 2015-16 season to find a FOY award winner that played 4 years in the league (Tookie Brown).

2016-17 D’Marcus Simonds (declared for draft after 3 years)
2017-18 Michael Ertel (transferred to UAB after 3 years)
2018-19 DeVante Jones (transferred to Michigan after 3 years)
2019-20 Mylik Wilson (transferred to Texas Tech after 2 years)
2020-21 Norchad Omier (transferred to Miami after 2 years)
2021-22 Duke Deen (transferred to Bradley after 1 year)

Rumor is Florida. Crazy part is most of those listed didn't leave for NIL. Micah is certainly factoring that in. I'm sure most of them got paid, but it wasn't legal then.

We won't win 15 games next year. Be a non-factor in the league. Teams play box and one on Taylor and there's your W. Not gonna be much fun.

South Alabama's latest class is almost finalized.

Losing:
Isaiah Moore - out of eligibility
Greg Parham - out of eligibility

Owen White - out of eligibility
Diante Smith - transfer portal
Tyler Shirley - transfer portal

Returning Players:
Judah Brown
Jamar Franklin
Turbo Jones
Marshall Kearing
Elijah Ormiston
Julian Margrave

Incoming players:
Samuel Tabe - transfer portal from Seton Hill (Div II)
Maxwell Land - transfer portal from Saint Francis
Thomas Howell - transfer portal from ULM

Adam Sizemore is a perennial walk-on that earned a scholarship last semester. He has another year of eligibility but he has a couple options and he's not made a decision yet.
