What is this concept of “selling” tickets to college baseball games? It’s foreign to JMU’s AD where all JMU baseball games are free. Sadly, you get what you pay for at JMU baseball games.
Watched a bit of ODU’s game yesterday on ESPN+, and even ODU was advertising season baseball tickets for $50, which bought you a seat for all ODU home games.
In the meantime, watched JMU drop their second game on the road to Florida State, playing in front of a very large crowd of FSU fans. JMU’s AD ain’t dumb, but he’s been asleep at the wheel when it comes to college baseball.
SRO season tickets are only $190 each. Actual seat prices don't matter because they are taken and have waiting lists (as do Roost spots). That's still a great deal for 30+ games a season, especially as good as we've been.
Impressive. Seriously. I honestly hope USM (and other SBC baseball powers) serve as a wake-up call to the JMU administration. Baseball is big in the Shenandoah Valley at the High School and summer league level. There’s no excuse for JMU to settle for mediocrity.

MKT can work wonders if you can find the talent ... the latter coupled with geo is y'all's issue ... baseball in warmer climates has a serious geo advantage ... just like bowling and lacrosse in almost yankee-landia ...

No, that would be the UTSA Bird Bath. The card table setup is pictured.
And here I was thinking our stadium was bad. Yikes!
Our stadium is still bad, but give us a minute or two...
You guys building near the old Atlanta Fulton County Stadium footprint?
That is the plan. Directly over the old field's footprint, I believe. Or at least close.
