I too think it is about 50/50. A lot depends on how these last few games go. Having a coach who can recruit and not coach them is like having half a coach. I have finally had to conclude that for this year we are just awful. I cannot blame the players because I like them and players are seldom the sole reason for a team losing. Hoping for the best in tomorrow's night game.

Some would say it’s like having an Assistant Coach. It has felt like we’ve had an interim head coach these past 2 seasons. Only recently has Oliver started expressing any accountability. The buck (Bucs) stop with you, bub! If son wants to play for father next season, better figure out something fast!

I think he will be back and actually I think he does know what the team needs and can identify talent he said he was going to go out last off-season and get a good front line and he really has it's a shame that we haven't had Taylor for half the year but I don't think he has a jason shay on his bench and every coach has strengths and weaknesses and if you're not a real good schematic Xs and Os guy you could still be a great coach if you have that in an assistant and I'm not sure he does

any help would be nice. And I don't know if Oliver is the answer or not but his hands are pretty much tied at the guard position with what he has however you don't have to be really talented to at least move the basketball and move without the basketball and make the defense do something the TV guys have said it over and over the entire first half Greensboro is moving the ball and getting open looks we haven't moved the ball really all season we just let Jordan king do his Steph Curry impersonation and clank a three off the back of the iron while falling out of bounds

Jay said on the pre-game that Tippler was dressed out but would not play tonight. He did not mention an injury. Could be.

Tipler isn’t injured, not that it matters.

I’d go so far to say it’s not the coaches fault for losing. But it is his fault for moving to ETSU. Not many good players are going to come after the response to the kneeling incident. Any recruiter worth his salt at another school is going to bring that up to the parents. I live in Knoxville and never heard a word when the various teams at UT knelt during the national anthem. But ETSU does it and the state is passing laws, and all hell breaks loose.

We have a heavy price to pay for thinking we were above other schools and areas and could get away with our response. Thankfully, I have lived long enough to see many good ETSU teams. Many years, I never missed a game annd even made the drive from Florida when I live there to watch games. But that was a different time and I seriously doubt we will see another good team in my lifetime.

Do not believe UNCG is at all.

Worst effort I have seen from a Bucs team in years. Haynes brings it. He brings it EVERY night on both ends of the court. The rest of the team is just going through the motions.
