tbh, all things considered we're playing pretty good defense. Charleston is really good.

Our guys look exhausted. 0-10 (?) from 3 in the first half … that’s not the recipe for an upset! Hope they come out looking better in the 2nd half.

RE: MBB @ Charleston
Gave up 12 offensive rebounds, had 8 TO, and 0-9 from 3 point range

CoC only shooting 34% at 14-41 but has taken 11 more shots.

Time to regroup and go back to basics like blocking out and winning the 50/50 balls

Including the UNCW game, we are 2 for 23 from 3. That's a whopping 9%.

We're not getting looks from 3. w/r/t boxing out, we haven't boxed out all season. We destroyed NE on the boards just by being athletic.

A lot of belly aching about how bad we're playing, but Charleston is GOOD. They go nine or ten deep, move the ball, don't make stupid mistakes, and go after every loose ball and rebound. Nobody averages more than 13.5 ppg. This team is built for success at our level. I don't see how they lose (m)any games in the conference.

2 for our last 10 from the floor, with some very poor shot selection.

CoC is good based on their hustle and discipline.

You could say that again BillyMac. 2 straight possessions of ball hog offense, forcing a terrible shot - the last one with Mullins going 1 vs 4 in the lane! Back to zero offensive identity.

Charleston is very good, for sure.

Jack is on crutches on the bench today.

Nice shout out to Kris Sears from the Charleston announcers. They said he saves them an hour and a half of prep time with his pregame notes. billymac-esque

We were 0-12 from 3. They were 16-45. Not sure I’ve ever seen that kind of disparity before.

45 3-point shots??!!

He played well in the second half. I think we need to get him more minutes. He can definitely play on offense at this level.

Nice to wait to insert your walkons with 2 minutes left and still not take the air out of the ball. Karma is a b**** and will come back to haunt Kelsey.

Hate to think what the score may have been, if Anders had not done an admirable defensive job on Larson.

Chuck Williams deserves more time. Period. Ben is just not strong enough and quick enough offensively around the basket which is a little surprising at this stage of his career. Williams ability to hit mid-range shots is of great value to this offense, even if he gives ground compared to Ben on the defensive end.

RE: MBB @ Charleston
The weekend mojo didn’t carry over to Monday.

Charlie Williams absolutely needs to get more minutes.

Ben Wight needs to get some lotion to soften his hands of stone.

Noah Collier was assessed 3 fouls before the opening tip.

Miguel Ayesa needs to know that when he is in the game that he is expected to shoot treys. If memory serves, he shot only one.

On to Delaware.

Well, no shame. They’re ranked 18. I hope they sweep through the league and we knock them off in the championship. Then we both dance.

Yes CoC is good and ranked #18.

We threw up many contested 3's and had poor offensive execution. They won the hustle factor and intensity.

Time to move on the the Blue Hens.

45 3-point shots!

Considering how much, and how quickly, we fell behind…we should have shot a lot more than 12 treys.

I have no problem with the walk-ons playing hard. Who knows when they will even see the court again?

Sure, they are ranked #18….but we have played ranked teams before…and not looked as overmatched (especially at the beginning of the game). A better plan would be for UNCW or Hofstra etc to upset them in the quarters or semis and then for the Tribe to upset that team.
