Tipler really annoys me already his 1st game back. He can take another vacation as far as I’m concerned. This losing slump is on the coaches and their inability to control the horrendous shot selection around the perimeter. Even the announcers were saying Haynes needed a touch on that last true possession.

SAD. No confidence right now in Oliver’s chances in conference. His son may want to watch more closely and consider his options. Who wants to transfer after 1 year because his dad got fired?

Calling it right now: Haynes & Smith will transfer up to better mid major or cusp high major teams next season. Maybe Taylor, too?

Well enough of this crap. The coaching staff is either unwilling or unable to make the adjustments needed to correct the mistakes. The terrible 3’s by King have killed us all year and Oliver is allowing it to continue. Scott hired two really nice guys for basketball and football coaches but big doubts about their coaching abilities. I’d almost welcome Murry back to town over this mess.

This is bringing back bad memories of all those Bartow last second losses. The new AD will have some decisions to make.

It's all well and good to say "get it in to Haynes", and if they played him man-up, then sure. But most teams are already not only doubling him, but when possible, absolutely swarming him down low. Even a lot of his makes are *very* contested.

But yeah, in general the shot selection, esp. from outside, is quite atrocious. Today, Morehead had a lot to do with that, but still..... And yes, King and Tippler took many unwise shots. But Morehead worked their butts off to make it that way.

I fear our 15 seed is in jeopardy.

Take away the D2 wins that shouldn’t count in the first place and we have a 2 win team. That’s a long way from 10 and sadly I tend to agree with you that we might not get there.

This team will win 10+ games (including the D2 wins). They'll "stumble into" (thank you George Quarles) at least that many. Likely more.

Let me put it more simply: team stinks. Good pieces are just that. Watching Haynes just watch the kid from Morehead tip in the winning shot says a lot.

It seems the legacy of Carter's hires just keeps on keeping on.

On paper this team should dominate lesser opponents, however, it seems the yips or a bit of performance anxiety has taken over our backcourt. We've all been there.

What is most telling is that yes we do have the players and they just beat Morehead for most of the game. But down the stretch we just got out coached, as we do every game, and gave the game away. Unless they figure this out we could wind up with a historically bad record this year.

Looking at their schedule and record — we are toast with way we’re playing. Is this their first year of DI ball? We’ve been DI since 1958. Unreal.

Yes this is Queens first year in D1. They were a D2 powerhouse.

This team is a tough watch right now. I'm not really sure if the problem is coaching or execution. Probably a little of both. Either way, we haven't beaten a D1 team in over a month. My how the mighty have fallen

I will be shocked if we beat Queens. They’re better than us. They’re 8-3.

10-22 in 2012-13 with a lot of blowout losses. This year’s squad is keeping games close but can’t close the deal. Even more frustrating knowing a lot of wins have been left on the table.

Yes I remember now. That was a horrible year. What hurts is, as you say, our losses have been painfully close and could all have been wins. Frustrating.

Well I know that we are not awful. We just need confidence and unity coupled with a go to guy. Lets hope time and more games can turn this around. Ive seen it happen before....Go Bucs
