Yea, when I saw that facemask against EMU on the first play I was like, uh oh. Then I thought maybe they got another one but that was a serious phantom call. I kept waiting for a makeup call.

Hardly any penalties at all, impressive.

How great is it to have this offensive line and running game? Feel like they have been able to just kill clock in so many games this season. Almost a luxury that only P5 schools have.

Without a doubt, I am in agreement with you guys on the play call on that led to EMUs late game interception. It made absolutely no sense… but conversely that drive took over 6 minutes off the game lock. So that was actually an impressive play calling on the drive overall. Probably sealed the game regardless, and of course the defense thankfully made the bad play call irrelevant.

But seriously, this coaching staff, Neathery included, is incredible. I frequently hate hate hate their x and o, but the program is so solid. 9 wins and a bowl win, best academics in the MAC. Damn good season

Big Win for EMU and Creighton! Congratulations to all players, coaches, fans and alumni! Creighton has positioned EMU to be a very solid program that can beat mid - level P5s and if we get some QB play next year, there are reasons why this team should be favored to win 2023 MAC championship!!

I listened to WEMU after the game and it was so A.W.E.S.O.M.E. to have some POST game coverage / interviews with players and coaches. Can’t we get a 30 minute post game show after every football game? What would that cost???? Interesting that even Rubick got emotional after the big W!!

This was a fun, special season and next year will be even better! Everyone here should be happy and proud!

The early MAC media poll has EMU predicted to be 4th in the MAC West in 2023. Up from the normal 5th spot.

I echo all of you. I started following CC and EMU about 7 yrs ago when it was bleak. I believed in him and he delivered.

There isn't a roster thats more likeable than this group.

I'm a sap right now and am so damn happy for the guys and coaches who came to EMU to turn things around.

Consider EMU officially a contender. They fought all game and were clearly more determined to win this game.

This is the proudest I've ever felt as an EMU fan

Congrats to all players and coaches. Even Neathery who I couldn't stand at times. He made changes and those changes got us to where we are. By all accounts he's a good man and am glad we sent him out with a bowl win


on to '23...... MAC Champs should be the expectation

Easily the best game that I have seen EMU Football play on a National Stage. Just so proud of the team and am just so happy for everyone and anyone who has had any ties to EMU. Just a great effort! Merry Christmas to all and to all a good night!
