Before you can even begin to think about globalism in the way that WEF wants to, you would need to have the exact same system of government in every single counrty on the globe. And guess what, Democracy is not that version of government.

Globalism is a fancy word for Socialism. A finite number of people then control what you do and consume - That ain't gonna fly in Europe or here specifically, nor is it gonna fly in most if not all of the ME.


What Globalism should mean is open and fair trade between all countries so that their needs are met and that nobody gets "more rich" than the other in doing so. AKA Fantasy Island.

I'm sorry, but I can't and in fact won't in good conscience defend something that I don't believe in.

One thing not well understood is that the USA is not capable of engaging in free trade on a level playing field with the rest of the world, and will not be until such time as it adopts a national consumption tax (VAT/GST).

For Christians and Bible believers, we already know there is only on final global government left to come in human history, and that is the antichrist's (he will claim to be God after he takes power, and actually sit in a rebuilt Jewish Temple in Jerusalem as the head of all Abrahamic "religions").

The WEF and all the current globalists are setting the stage now, but further global crisis at the very last hour will set the table for him to come to power. Nations will still have governments as they do now, but those governments and leaders will bend the knee to the globalist power.

When he takes power, he will sign a middle east peace treaty and seem to have all the answers to all the worlds big problems. He will be the most gifted speaker and politician the world has ever seen, and he will combine politics, religion and climate change all into one powerful seat and position. He will bring all the faiths (including the climte religion) and all world powers together for a brief period in which the whole world will celebrate as the dawning of a new age of "peace and safety". He will control all buying and selling, all worship, everything. He will even build an image to himself just as Nebuchadnezzar did to celebrate his accomplishments and self proclaimed deity.

Scripture makes clear though that it will be brief and will come crashing down hard as God unleashes His wrath on the beasts Kingdom and all those who follow and worship him.

But scripture told us there would only be one more world Kingdom with a single head after Rome and it would be the antichrists. 1500 years after the fall of Rome there has been no other just as prophesied in scripture. As we approach the 2000 year mark since the crucifixion, its clearly now taking shape and just around the corner. Many of the early church fathers wrote 1900 years ago that it would come at about the 2000 year mark of the church age, and here we are.

As most people here define it, including myself, Globalism is terrible. But Gamenole pointed out that running the world in a Global way for trade, standards, agreements etc doesn’t have to automatically equate to one world government etc.

There are certainly aspects of operating globally that we couldn’t live without currently. We can’t let the concept of anything being global automatically scare of us off from benefitting from it. Plenty of US corporations operate globally.

This is a case of using many definitions and connotations to the same word, on top of variations of that world like global and globally. Many a US CEO speaks emphatically of operating globally, the global economy etc. There is going to be some crossover.

By wanting some things we benefit from to be global so we can make more money, we are just opening ourselves up to more Globalist agenda BS.
